• The Reunification Palace – On April 30th, 1975, the conflict that the Vietnamese people call the “American War” came to an end when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army broke through the gates of what was then the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. Today, the palace stands as both a historical witness and a powerful reminder of national reunification.

• 9:00 AM: War Remnants Museum – Once known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this museum offers a poignant reflection on the futility of war. The ‘Requiem’ exhibition, featuring black-and-white photographs, is especially moving, as it honors both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who lost their lives during the conflict.
